ooh how cool~! 
i saw that stock image on sxc while i was browsing for a ref for my pear
in the end i took a dA ref
i really like the fact that you chose to draw it all...i mean not only the half or the other two...also the angle seemed a bit hard to me (witch was very lazy today >_> )
and nice overall pear feel
what i might suggest is changing the colour of the texture/dost while you go from darker to lighter parts
other than that..i think it's great
especially those colours...really cute ^^
with the doted green background and all...gives a tidy feel
